“Finally, in the Hamptons!!...” PhotoOp Studios was developed to accommodate the distinctive needs of photographers, ad agencies, film production companies and designers. We look forward to being a necessity and resource for the Hampton’s industry professionals.

PhotoOp is well suited for all “productionistas” and your events that require an exclusive space with a feel of style and prestige, rather than an ill suited private location, a motor home or office rental. We are a production friendly space, available for anything from: a two week catalogue shoot, for holding and feeding your crew, or a production office hub.

Our 4000 square foot, purposely designed space, is divided into two sections:

At first, walking into PhotoOp feels, ¨More like a large New York style loft or design atelier than a photography studio.¨ Purely white with polished painted floors, modern lighting, and the longest floor to ceiling sheer curtains; it is a blank canvas - ready for action.

The reception space consists of a fully serviced client meeting area complete with a modern “chill out” lounge, a full library, Hi Fi media player with Ipod/MP3 docking, and hi speed wireless internet. A fully equipped, butcher blocked kitchenette with wine cooler and fridge make it wonderfully suited for catering, as well as food styling and photography. Even our Edwardian style WC is ready to shoot in. A convenient, two person vanity area leads right onto the cyclorama

Splashes of color decorate PhotoOp in the form of table top props and set dressings. At every turn, one can get lost in the coolest objects of yesteryear and all are available to rent.

Up the stairs and beyond the sheers, you will find over 5000 vintage garments and accessories spanning the decades. From Victorian undergarments to the New Wave, PhotoOp’s collection will overwhelm even the most seasoned style guru.

Continuing through to the studio, you will find a 2000 square foot ground floor photo studio. With our massive bay door, you can drive a 14ft cube truck right onto the cyc, making loading in and out a cinch! The room contains a one walled 20 foot cyclorama easily set-up for your fashion¸ advertising¸ food¸ and product editorial, stills or commercials. The ceiling is 20 ft to the beams. The bay door opening also affords access to natural available light, while revealing a small private paved courtyard. Along the back wall of the cyclorama, are tiers and tiers of industrial shelving, housing a variety of antique chairs, props, practical lights, soft goods and display pedestals

PhotoOp is fully air conditioned, and gas heated. There is ample AC power and tri-phase power available. Our grip equipment includes C stands & arms, auto poles, super clamps, light duty photo stands, apple boxes and sandbags. Power tools, compressors and painting supplies are available upon request. Lastly, we also carry a small selection of expendables, from clothes pins, and gaffers tape to set paper.

PhotoOp is located in a very eclectic industrial park. There is Twin Forks Moving & Storage facility, for storing sets or wardrobe. Party Rentals Ltd, a vintage car garage and Plum TV, are all next door. Across the street is Despatch Uhaul, as well as the Hampton Luxury Liner depot. There is ample parking and larger parking facilities nearby. PhotoOp is less than 200 yards from the Long Island Rail Road. A half mile down Butter Lane, is Bridgehampton Town Center. Most important, the beach is less than 1 mile away.

PhotoOp can also provide, as an additional service: complete set design and fabrication, set seamstress and tailoring, costume fabrication or scenery. We can courier materials to and from New York City. We are fortunate enough to work with a great team of people offering talents such as styling, make up, props, location and production services, enabling us to make shoots run like clockwork, so if you do need anything, don’t hesitate to contact us.
